The firm’s partners are Kathleen A. Monahan concentrating in tax service for partnerships, estates, and trusts, and Susan Z. Peckham emphasizing corporate strategy and business consultation as well as estate, trust and family partnership work. Both partners provide tax planning and business services for individuals.
Susan Peckham's 35 years of experience include five years with Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and four years with KMG/Main Hurdman and its predecessor. She is involved in all aspects of the tax practice, including business consulting, estate and gift tax planning, and individual tax planning. Her tax expertise has assisted clients in solving corporate tax problems including Subchapter S tax planning. She has also worked extensively with family limited partnerships.
Susan has a Masters of Professional Accounting with a concentration in taxation, and a Bachelors degree in Business with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
Kathleen Monahan is one of two partners in the firm’s tax section. Kathleen has over 30 years of experience with both national and local accounting firms. She is involved in all aspects of tax practice including estate and gift tax planning, IRS representation and business tax consultation. Kathleen’s areas of concentration include family limited partnership planning, trust planning and all aspects of estate and gift plans including estate return preparation. Her other area of practice is partnership taxation, including business partnerships, LLP’s, land development and real estate partnerships.
Kathleen has a Master of Professional Accounting degree with a concentration in taxation from the University of Texas.
Retired in 2014.
